Background: Spent her formative years working in media production and distribution. Much of that time was spent as operations manager of a nonprofit media center in Portland, Oregon.

Has extensive experience in media policy advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels, and did a stint at the City of Portland supporting community media advocacy efforts within the realm of telecommunications regulation.

Technical skill-set: System design, large and small scope project management (has managed research, technology, and physical plant projects with budgets up to $3 million), technical writing, policy development, budget forecasting, grant writing, report writing, policy research, and white papers.

Creative skill-set: Creative writing, script writing, advertising and social media copy writing, illustration, digital media creation, and wordpress site development.

Bonus skills: Has numerous years of experience in nonprofit management which could be considered both technical and creative.
